CRISTEL VILLARUEL
Cristel Villaruel was Dewi’s blockmate in UA&P. They eventually ended up being roomies getting up to all sorts of mischief during their time together in their pad. She was right by her side throughout their years in university up until they both graduated. She would be a source of comfort when the going gets tough. She was also a great companion when it was time to celebrate. Pouring out your heart to her is easy and no topic is ever off-limits. Throughout all the ups and downs, she has always possessed a positive demeanour which is so infectious; you cannot help but admire her strength in character. As she has spent quite a bit of time as a wedding planner in Manila AND newly engaged as well, the bride is overjoyed to have Cristel by her side as they both embark on this journey of planning.
MICHELLE MERCADO
Michelle Mercado is Dewi’s future sister-in-law. That’s when her brother, Joseph, decides to get his act together. She’s been a part of their family for a while now, so much so that nothing her mom says, or nothing her brothers do, is ever a shock to her. And to some, that might take a lot of getting used to. When it comes to family events, birthdays and the like, she will always have a role to play and you can trust she will play it well. It’s a joy having her in the family and have somebody else tell Joshua off apart from the parents and the siblings. As there’s a fair bit of crazy going on, it’s nice having her and Erwin tone that crazy down.
CHIN TAGUINES
Chin Taguines was Dewi’s closest friend in college for a lot of reasons but mainly due to the many chorale rehearsals they spent side by side in the alto section. Born on the same year, on the same month, they connect with each other on so many levels and sing the same notes (quite literally as a matter of fact). They are both feisty and highly competitive but also quite fun-loving and adventurous. They can be fierce and gutsy but cry their eyes out over the smallest heartstrings. College will always be special because of the memories they created together. Even though they both currently live in separate countries, nothing can change the fact that the most memorable times of Dewi’s college life, she got to spend with Chin.
