THE LOCATION

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place in Pandawa Cliff Estate. Located on Bali’s southernmost tip in a region known as the Bukit Peninsula, Pandawa Cliff Estate is only a 30-minute drive from the airport and within easy reach of the popular spots of Nusa Dua and Jimbaran. This region is a limestone tableland boasting some of Bali’s most glamorous villas, private estates and international boutique hotels. Getting to the estate may seem a bit like trekking through the jungle at some point. However, what lies ahead is a hidden paradise, a stunning cliff side property with the Indian Ocean as its backdrop.

THE PROPERTY

Pandawa Cliff Estate is made up of 3 villas – The Pala, Villa Rose and Villa Marie. The Pala and Villa Rose have been booked for the wedding while the 6-bedroom Villa Marie is still vacant and available for booking. From where it sits, you may see the white sands of Pandawa Beach down below dotted with beach huts and local cafes. Once known as a secret beach, its beauty has since been discovered so it’s not surprising to find surfers and a crowd of people on its shores.

THE SURROUNDS

Aside from Pandawa Beach that lies below the estate, other local beaches in the area are the famous white rocky sand beaches of Bingin and Padang Padang in Uluwatu, popular with the surfers but not for amateur swimmers. For those into golfing, there are two world-class golf courses on the Bukit. For adventurous guests, there is a paintball facility as well as a paragliding centre on the cliff, 80 metres above the nearby Timbis Beach. For those who prefer to chill out and eat, the dining spots in Jimbaran and Uluwatu are within easy reach – this includes the very popular Rock Bar in Ayana Resort and Sundays Beach Club in The Ungasan Cliffside Resort. The remainder of the island offers a rich mosaic of cultures, tastes, sights and sounds, shopping facilities, restaurants and a wide array of outdoor activities.
